What kind of people work at MashON? Oh, boy. Where to begin? At first glance you may mistake us for the ensemble cast of a cross country car race movie. MashON employees come from the four corners of the earth including parts unknown. Our personalities vary but they definitely skew toward nutty. You never know what you're going to run into while rounding a corner in the office: impromptu cocktail parties, remote controlled helicopters, loaded nerf guns, coffee machine demonstrations, a hot off the press T-Shirt, dance circles, patio BBQs, small children, sing alongs, freshly baked goods, mining helmets, feats of strength, fashion shows...you get the idea.
But don't let the carefree vibe that our office exudes fool you into thinking that we're not serious about what we do. You won't find a more dedicated bunch than the twenty-odd employees here at MashON. We like to have a good time but our number one priority is MashON's continued success.

I heart the interweb and all things with a digital flavor. Equally obsessed with sports, food trucks, social media, running, caffeine (in the form of Sugar Free Rockstars), UCLA Bruins & chapstick. The antithesis of corporate and proud of it; flip flops and hoodies are included in my preferred ensemble. As nice as they come, but beware of my snarky and sarcastic tendencies. Just a digital girl living in a digital world, trying to make a dollar out of 15 cents.

Born and bred on a tropical island full of blue birds. Scott is not my first name. I go by SC in the office, yet went to UCLA and loathe most things USC. I practically grew up on air planes over the Pacific, yet turbulence still gets to me. I have an affinity for gadgets, I would consider myself a technophile through and through. I will pass on an evening of binge drinking and bars to surpass a top level or try and grab an ever evading Xbox Achievement. Music is my Radar. San Francisco 49'ers and Giants are my homeboys. Ties and suits are rarely worn outside of weddings, Quiksilver woven's abound - I prefer a west coast/island style in my daily attire. I'd never make it in NY. Food is good. Running and biking is good. Snowboarding is better, but ice cream is the best. Homer Simpson is my friend. I once sat next to LeBron James in a movie theater. Did I mention sometimes I see blue birds?

My goal every morning when I sit at my computer is to acquire partners for MashON - it is my mission - and I choose to accept it! I bridge the digital world with the business world. Yes, I've seen Wall Street, Glengarry Glen Ross, Tommy Boy, and Boiler Room...and yes, lunch is for wimps.
My world is clients, partners, connections, meetings, presentations, conference calls, referrals, business cards, leads, and synergistic relationships. I use phrases like 'synergistic relationships' 'complement your overall digital strategy' and 'you're awesome'. I check my email before I get out of bed in the morning and I respond while the shower warms up. I email at red lights, I text while I walk across the street, I take notes on the back of envelopes while I drive. I love what I do. I have the enthusiasm of a high school cheerleader on Red Bull and Pixie Stix - and that's before my morning coffee.
Born in Boston, went to college in Ohio, got sick of shoveling snow, and moved to Hermosa Beach, CA. Love my Boston sports (being surrounded by Laker fans at work has been an adjustment).
Every year I have a goal of traveling to a new country. I've jumped off of cliffs, bridges and out of planes - I've hang-glided in Rio, bungee jumped in Thailand and searched for the Loch Ness Monster - I've danced the Flamenco in Madrid, the Samba in Lapa, and the Salsa in San Juan - I've drank warm beer in Prague, cold beer in Berlin, and Irish Car Bombs in Dublin. When I'm not traveling - I'm thinking about traveling.

I lead the design team here at MashON. We're always faced with new challenges, ranging from product design to interactive layouts and UI processes. We have a diverse but strong team. Art Center College of Design alumni (one of three here at MashON). But besides all that, I'm a huge Lakers fan, dabble in photography, huge music guru, and love trying new places to eat. Don't worry, I run a few times a year (working on upping that amount).
I am always looking for new experiences, deals, and forums to engage with. The internet is a crazy machine, and if you don't keep up with all the interactive experiences that happen on a daily basis, you can easily get left behind. Can't get too caught up in the machine though, there are plenty of things going on that don't involve a screen, at least for now.

If I'm not doing that, I get irritated and I'm no good to anyone pissed. I love the Lake Show. Go Lakers! I hate Matt Barnes and the other lames that try to mess with Kobe. I love Manny Pacquiao, he's the truth! I'm into street culture and characters in the streets. I like to travel when I can and scope out different art museums or galleries whenever I'm in another area code.

In the morning before I put my shoes on, I get my Kroger Brand Foot Powder and sprinkle it on each of my toes. Then I clap my feet together so a bunch of powder smoke fills the air. It makes me feel fantastical and mystical. If I was banned to a far off deserted island and could only bring one thing to eat each and everyday, it would be Beef Fried Rice from Yang Chow. If I could only bring one drink to drink everyday on that island, it would be Wild Cherry Capri Sun. I would also try to sneak in a little bottle of 2% Milk and a small ziplock full of Ovaltine powder.
I often dream of being a real life Mowgli from the Jungle Book story so I could have animals as my family. When I go to bed at night I pray that in the morning my roommate has magically disappeared forever. In the mornings when I get up the first thing I do is sigh because I see him right outside my door again. My absolute favorite person in the world happens to be the first ninja ever from El Salvador. Also, I very much dislike when the neighbor's dog comes over. His name is Oreo, but his behavior towards me is not that yummy.

Hello! As much as Stephen likes talking about himself out loud, he
found it incredibly difficult to write something cool so I, Stephen's
loving girlfriend, took the liberty to write it. Besides loving me
with all his heart, he is in love and I mean in LOVE with graphic
design in all shapes and sizes- big prints and posters, fresh book
design, interactive media and motion graphics. You would think he
would be destined to land a job in print- with all these posters,
flyers, and magazines he collects and stores at our apartment. But I
hear he got inspired by the really nice art directors at MashON to use
his degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of LA and he fell
in love with web design (but not as much as he loves me). He helped
the team at MashON carry out designs for the brands: MGM, Chaotic, TNA
Wrestling, Yo Gabba Gabba, Henson, and I'm pretty sure we'll hear
about more soon.
To keep up with the talented guys (and gal) at MashON, he finds
inspiration in everyday things like spending time with his beautiful/
sweet girlfriend (me) and our mini labradoodle. Oh, and he also gets
his inspiration from other things too- like playing basketball at the
local park after watching the LA Lakers games ALL THE TIME. He keeps
up with local events involving great music and artists in LA while
sharing good laughs with friends and family. When he's not eating at
really awesome restaurants and food trucks in LA with ME, you can find
out what he's up to from his excessive updates on Facebook and Twitter
or updating his blog with really cool finds on the web.

Let me begin by answering the question that is undoubtedly on your
mind: No, you are not dreaming. I really do exist. Generally
speaking, I am anomalous, platitudinous and ridiculous. If I won a
million dollars I'd invest it in the military-industrial complex, the
prison-industrial complex and the plus size clothing-industrial
complex. Monday-Friday at 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM you can find me eating
a salad consisting of only spinach and chicken. I wait until 5 PM
before enjoying my daily sweet potato (that was not a euphemism).
In my spare time, while not working on #8 and #12 of Hilbert's 23
problems, I enjoy isolating myself and meticulously analyzing every
form of nonverbal communication that I've recently received from
friends, family, co-workers and strangers. The meaning of life was
revealed to me, at the age of 5, after suffering a mighty blow to head
while busting slate on the outskirts of a South American mining
colony. Unfortunately, my subconscious has long since redacted this
valuable information. I am left to find what peace I can while taking
refuge in the tranquil valleys that are periodically nestled amongst
the mountainous molehills located between "here" and "there." I
currently find myself in one such valley. The locals call this place
"MashON."

Since then, the internet was my playground but that isn't the only thing I do. I am a fan of mathematical equations, tech blogs, Korean BBQ, UCLA, Macintosh/Apple, and MashON!

About me...hum, there is not too much to me. I'm a simple person that likes to be outdoors, likes to bike, and likes to read. As of this writing, I've been working at MashON for about 4 or 5 months. This is actually a nice place to work; everyone gets their work done, no over bearing boss types, and as long as you get your work done, you're good =) and not to mention the personalities of people here...never a dull day.

I invented the MashON Platform.
I am passionate about what the platform can do, and proud of the team that pours its sweat into it. They're fantastic.
After a couple years spent as MashON's CTO/CCO, I now devote most of my time to molding MashON's technologies for academic use... and other special projects.
Particularly because I'm not conventional, I get things done. That's pretty much why office chalkboards came about. Ask Miki; she knows.
In my next life, I will be a farmer, and I will do my best to be happy without all my Apple products. I will trade in my motorcycle for a horse.

My brain only compiles thoughts into 140 characters or less. For me, Twitter is like that friend you randomly call when something hilarious happens and you have to share it right then - more like a conference call.
I love Tapatio. You can put it on everything, really. My life changed when I discovered they made them into portable packets. I don't have to carry a Tapatio bottle in my purse anymore and that means more room for my bottle of Jack.

My interests are fitness, fashion, cars, wine, and cooking. My role models are Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Bond. Healthy body = healthy mind. Always V-necks. Always GTL. Mint chocolate chip ice cream has always been my favorite dessert, but I frequently resort to Tootsie Pops at the office. My favorite sport is golf, and I like collecting golf clubs and tinkering with them. Computers, consumer electronics, and gadgets have always been a soft spot for me, but I'm going to hold off on a 3D TV and wait for 4D.

Love Coffee but Tea is great too.. I'm dangerous with some thread needle scissors, glue and a sewing machine.. but in Embroidery and Printing I'm lethal !!! not a Laker fan but oh well...the cave is my home(that's the Lab)that always stays at a cool 80 degrees ... industrial machines are my toys... music is the sound needles going in and out of fabric... and sour gummy worms are my afternoon delight..
Fashion is my world...made pockets, fits, and washes for Seven jeans, Joes jean and True Religion..designed evening dresses for St John Knits.... draped wedding dresses for boutiques...embroidered monarchy, morphine Generation, and affliction shirts... and developed the back pockets for Antik Denim, Yanuk, and Tavernity, Jeans.... But I can honestly say that the work I do here is as exciting and different as anything I've done in the past... I never thought I'll be making service dogs look cool and fashionable.. or that I would get the chance to put Homer Simpson on a T-shirt...I truly consider my self lucky to work for a company that allows me to play all day long... cuz it sure don't feel like work!!!

Summing it all up; I feel honored to be working next to amazing individuals from all walks of life, something I never thought I would be accomplishing this early in my life. Socializing used to be one of my deficiencies. Now it's a medium.
